简介 :
俗名藍閃電、琉璃神仙魚、珊瑚美人。棲息於礁區、近海沿岸、潟湖，深度10-50公尺，無毒性，不可食用，有觀賞價值，不是經濟性魚類，分布於印度至太平洋，產於臺灣南部、小琉球、蘭嶼、10 cm，模式種產於印尼摩鹿
形態特徵 :
體橢圓形；背部與腹面輪廓約略相當。吻鈍而小。眶前骨游離，下緣凸出，後方具棘；前鰓蓋骨具鋸齒，具一長強棘；間鰓蓋骨短圓，具向後三棘。上下XIV，軟條17；臀鰭硬棘III，軟條16-18；背鰭與臀鰭軟條部後端尖形；腹鰭尖形，第一棘幾達臀鰭；尾鰭圓形。體黃褐色至橙褐色，17-20條延伸至腹部的藍紫色至黑褐色橫紋；胸鰭上方體側具深色短橫斑，或不顯著。背鰭、臀鰭及尾鰭一致為藍紫色至黑褐色；腹鰭及胸鰭黃色。
棲所生態 :
棲息於珊瑚叢生的潟湖及面海的礁區斜坡區域。多半單獨活動或成小群活動。生性機警，躲躲藏藏，不易看見。主要以海藻、珊瑚蟲及附著生物等為食。行雌性先成熟的性轉變行為。
地理分布 :
分布於印度-太平洋區，西起東非洲，東至土木土群島，北至日本南部，南至羅得豪島。臺灣南部、小琉球、
