简介 :
俗名藍新娘。棲息於礁區、近海沿岸，深度10-50公尺，無毒性，不可食用，有觀賞價值，不是經濟性魚類，分布於太平洋，產於臺灣東北部、15 cm，模式種產於日本田邊市。
形態特徵 :
體橢圓形；背部輪廓略突出，XV，軟條15；臀鰭硬棘III，軟條17；背鰭與臀鰭軟條部後端鈍圓形；腹鰭鈍尖形；尾鰭截形。體、背鰭及臀鰭前半部黃至橙紅色而零散著一些紫藍色小點或
棲所生態 :
棲息於岩礁及珊瑚礁區，棲息區域較偏溫帶水域。行雌性先成熟的性轉變行為。
地理分布 :
分布於太平洋區，由日本南部及中部至夏威夷群島的西北部。臺灣僅早期發現於東北角海域，現已難見蹤跡。
